LEO Tenace has been named the 2019 Echuca Moama Sportstar Coach of the Year.
Everything Leo Tenace touched turned to gold in the 2019 season.
Starting the year off on the verge of taking his Echuca Pirates basketball side from a perennial cellar dweller to a finals side, Tenace coached the first senior premiership in Pirates history in February.
He then returned to his other coaching role, taking charge of Echuca’s under 18 football premiership defence.
Under Tenace’s leadership, the boys in bottle green became just the second team in GVL under 18 history to go through an entire season undefeated, claiming their second consecutive premiership.
